Coach Madison Holland

Hey there! My name is Madison Holland and I’m a private soccer coach who works with players of all genders, ages, and positions. I’m based in the LA area, specifically, the San Fernando Valley. I usually hold my sessions at Van Nuys Sherman Oaks Park on the turf fields, but I can travel wherever you need me to!

I played as a goalkeeper during my career but my coaching is not just for those in goal. I love working with players to develop skills for the entire field, though I do have special spot in my heart for keepers.

On the personal side, I’m a student at California State University, Northridge (CSUN) pursuing a degree in liberal studies through the ITEP program. I’m interested in teaching K-5 once I graduate.

As for where I played, as a kid I played for Real SoCal and ECNL. I then played high school at Northridge Academy and helped lead my team to a CIF-City Championship. Next, I went to the University of Wisconsin, Green Bay on a full-ride scholarship to play goalkeeper. Unfortunately, I tore my ACL in a game and made the tough decision to transfer to LAPC while recovering. While at Pierce, I re-tore my ACL and decided to put my playing career on hold before transferring into CSUN.

Even though my playing career is on hold for the moment, I still love the game and want to spread the joy I have for it to anyone who wants to train hard. My sessions are not easy, but they will make you a better player. I focus on getting the most out of every drill so that we can get the most out of every session. I’m dedicated to making you become the best player you can be, whether that is defending the goal or attacking it. I’m excited to get to know you and I look forward to hearing from you soon!
